Friends

I spoke to Ralph and Colleen last night. They are old time friends. We don't see or talk to much. As you get older that happens, I guess.

The last time we talked was over a year ago at their sons wedding.

I felt so good talking to them. It felt warm and ...... good. I only have so many people that are special in my life and R&C are up there on the list. I wish I did have $$$ and I could just take everyone to an island for a good while.

I would like to spend some quality time with them. Just talking about life stuff.

This is what can be stopped. If I was having a problem with someone in this situation I would let them go. I KNOW deep in my heart some day they will end up meeting up with someone that is not as nice as me and it could be a very evil m.f.er, could be a cop could be someone who lets them go first them follows them and.......?????

Thanksgiving 2005 - Food Thoughts

Lisa -
I am bad because I might eat turkey.
But I think not eating turkey on Thanksgiving is a good thing. It is the best day not to eat turkey. (for turkeys)

So ....if you want to tell your mom not to make Turkey I am behind you 100%. I will not miss it.

I am so back and forth. I guess we should stick to our guns. There is going to be a ton of food. No one is going to go hungry.

I guess I will try to not eat turkey.

(I did buy a fake turkey already)

First impressions

Stuff

Well, I am back in the basement. I had all the music stuff upstairs in the spare bedroom but now that is going to be the computer room and the computer room is the baby room. So.......I am back in the basement. I just hate how it looks. And it feels wrong. If I was 15 I would love it. I will take some photos to show you. It is going to take so much work that I do not know how to do.

I am happy to have a basement.

November 2005

On Saturday we went to Lisa's High School pre-reunion at some restaurant/bar. It was no big deal. I liked the place because I got to have a few drinks at the bar and watch the Flyers on a big TV.

On Sunday we went to Jim Bowman's place for his birthday. All the kids were there and it was crazy. The kids were crazy. NO they were. Grace was the only good one untill out of no where she threw her dinner plate across the room.

Jackie- "So you guys excited?"
Jim - "I was"
