Cold Winter

I can not see me in the mirror. I can not hear the music I write. I get excited about pictures I take and I know they are not for everyone.

Holiday Vacation Dec 2005

The baby has me thinking about stuff that I would not normally think about. It is changing me. I think I am still worried. I guess it is about being a good dad or the $ or .......being a good dad. All this worrying causes stress and it is not good for my health.

Lisa and I had a good holiday. It was good to see Fran's Steve walk over to the grandparents. It worked.

Musical Box and Baby Stuff

This past Saturday we went to see a Genisis cover band for the 2nd time. They were just as good as the first time. It was Jimmy , me , Lisa, Steve B and his new chick. Seems like everyone liked the show. It is a show that is hard not to like even if you don't know the music.

The day before that (Friday) it snowed 5 inches or so. Lisa and I had to be down town for the big ultra sound at 7:45. Lisa is in the bed thing and the nurse/Dr ask if we want to know the sex. We had talked about it and we did decide that we would find out. I did not know it was going to be right then! Lisa blurts out YES real quick. She did not even look at me. It was fine her doing that but it was unexpected. The question and the quick answer.

She is a girl now. Not an it. I am very sure that it would have made no difference if we found out it was a boy. It is funny how usually I will lean a bit one way or the other. I always keep an open mind but this was different. I was right in the middle. I think maybe Lisa was a bit more on the girl side. Just a bit. And just maybe.

We saw fingers and arms and legs.(the normal # of them)Skull and spine and something Lisa said was the face. (I can not see face in the print out no matter how hard I look).
